Meet Chef Dario Parascandolo

Neapolitan by birth with over twenty years of experience, Dario spent his childhood in the Campania region of Italy where he inherited his passion for cooking from his mother.
At 15 Dario graduated from the Institute Hotelier and has pursued his strong predisposition for the culinary industry ever since. He began his career as an assistant chef at different hotels in Campania and Italy, working his way up to demi-chef, chef-de-partie and sous chef. In 1998, with his career underway, Dario enriches his professional experience with a period abroad at various restaurants in Europe, London, and the US, permitting him to develop a global palate. In 2002 Dario returned to his homeland and the sunny flavours of the Mediterranean, taking on the Executive Chef position at five star hotels in southern and central Italy before his travels brought him to the Veneto region in 2007.
In May 2014, Dario took on the prestigious role of Executive Chef at Hotel Danieli, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Venice, one of the world’s most legendary hotels. Dario’s dynamic, passionate character and broad experience have led him to hone his artistic skills and further develop his knowledge of classic and gourmet cuisine, and the selection of raw materials. His menu is rooted to local tradition, with seasonal ingredients and a touch of his personal style that reflects his amazing journey.
